Piano Lessons

Ever since we took in Nanny's piano, Annalise has been fascinated with it. She loves to play every moment I allow it. The small home and hardwood floors sure makes a piano playing pretty loud!

I found a basic piano theory workbook that we have been going through. She can now identify quarter, half, and whole notes. She can even sing CDEFGABC up the scale while playing the appropriate notes.

Because Jarrett and I love music so much and it's such a big part of our lives, we get pretty excited to see her enjoying music also! She's only five years old and I hope the joy stays for awhile!

Here she is playing a little bit from her book. At this point, she is reading numbers and playing with both hands (2,3,4 on the right and 4,3,2 on the left)! I love it!
