Today I took the girls on a walk. But this one was a little different. They actually had to "walk." Lately, Annalise thinks the way to go on a walk is to use the electronic car. This time we took the girls shopping carts and looked for trash. Annalise and I have been talking about doing this together for over a year now. Well, yesterday it came to pass. Funny thing is, Annalise didn't want to touch any of the trash (and I don't blame her). I forgot our gloves, so I did most of the picking up. If I saw a few safe pieces, I directed Allison to grab it and trash it. She thought it was lots of fun! And Annalise decided her shopping cart would be for nature hunting. She picked up leaves, wild flowers, acorns, and sticks. She said she was going to make a nature card with her findings! We had a great time!

Great idea for a walk! I may have to try that. I guess that means I have to go on the walk too, huh?
