My Rock Star and Lady Bug!

Honestly, I really HATE Halloween! I participated once again in a few church fall festivals because I know my kids would really enjoy some candy and rides. And they did! And they were cute! I did, however, teach my oldest about the history of Halloween from The History Channels' website . I explained that we do not celebrate Halloween but I was okay with participating in an alternative event. Unfortunately, we also went to visit a local Halloween celebration that was not a church event. We thought it would be a nice family affair and I was wrong. I now remember why I hate Halloween so much. Costumes that are worn at the events are scary, gory, and inappropriate. I don't want my kids to see these things. Annalise woke up with a nightmare last night! I hate Halloween.

Next year I think we will have a family costume party with our own safe candy!

Now for the cute, happy stuff...pictures of my cuties!!!

Ellie asked (out of the blue) what Annalise dressed as for Halloween. I had read your blog earlier, so I was able to answer, a rock star. She said, " A rock star? Wow! That's really cool! Does she have a guitar?"

Just cracked me up....
