She looked so cute Thursday morning as she got dressed for the day! I just had to get out the camera again. I need to keep my batteries charged! Even though she was adorable, the morning wasn't as precious as the pictures. Let me explain...see those cute shoes? Yeah, those normal stylish little brown shoes...she complained a little bit about those cute shoes she has on. She is totally a Florida girl and absolutely hates to wear close toed shoes. Her feet typically look like they are having a seizure when I even mention wearing something other than flip-flops! Her face changes to utter disgust and the day is going downhill fast. Even after a pre-excitement gesture from mommy about how awesome these shoes are going to look, the look on her face tells me that we may have a spanking coming in our near future. Once the shoes are on, she continually shakes her feet trying to make the shoe come off while yelling, "they don't fit me!" But, after a few moments of her 5 year old tantrum, she comes into the room with a bright smile on her face (I was very confused). I said, "wow, Annalise, you have a different attitude. Good Job." She said, (with much excitement) "MOMMY! I Look like Carolyne from PureNRG with my new shoes!" She then begins to strike poses in front of the mirror. So, apparently my constant comments of how "cute" she was didn't work. My threatens of punishment for her nasty attitude didn't make a difference either. But, one look at the CD cover of PureNRG (remember her surprise!), and she is now a rock star!!! It sure can be frustrating to be a mother! Needless to say, these pictures were taken once we had a talk about her heart and her quick glance again at herself and the CD cover!
