Family Fun Jar!

Each night Annalise is begging to do something "fun." Of course when I ask her "what is fun?" She answers quickly and the spectrum is wide...anywhere from playing tic-tac-toe to spending the enitre day at Disney World!
So, we decided to make a "Family Fun Jar." But, the ideas for the jar have to be achievable at home sweet home! I grabbed some blankets for us to do our craft and picnic with some milk and cookies after dinner. Then we wrote fun things down on separate pieces of construction paper (with a cute picture description of our activity...so Allison will soon understand also). We cut them out with decorative stickers, folded them up, and stuck them in the "Fun Jar!"
Here are some our our random activities:
Tic-tac-toe tournament
Puzzles
Playing Cards
Dance and Sing
Popcorn and a Movie
Reading Books Together
Painting our Toes (sorry, Daddy, you get to sit this one out)!
Bake a yummy treat
Tickle and Play Time
Bubbles Outside
Playing the Animal Game (fun game)!
Make up a Story together
Journal Together (see Annalise's journal here)
Paint
Hide-and-Seek!
And more!!!
Here is Allison adorning the craft with her sticker art.
Notice the amount of stickers that made it to Allison's shirt :)
