So I have started a new tradition with my girls (give or take a few extra children...see the post HERE) for the last few years on making a Gingerbread house. We have had many successful homes of icing and candy that have made it on display until this year!
Here we are as we begin our journey....(everything was looking good until you look closely at that side wall...don't worry...the close up is next)!
Told ya! Stinking kit had the WORST icing ever! And past kits have given me lines to trace for the roof top, doors, and windows. This year I was on my own!
Here is daddy as he tries to put the roof back together the second or third time! Look at that frown!
Kids are excited because they just got word that we were going to give up and just eat the stinkin thing!!!
YUM!!! I am pretty sure that they were quite okay with the house falling apart!
Until next year!!! Think I might try the new Rice Krispy Treat Houses!
