Our girls just LOVE hotels! It is such a treat for them! They get excited when we go out of town ANYWHERE because they get to sleep in a hotel :) Allison was so sad to leave Miami last week because the hotel was "so beautiful!" Funny thing is...it WASN'T! But to our little peanut, it was Wonderful!
This trip is showing to be just the same...Allison walked in and said "IT's BEEEEAUTIFUL MOMMY!!!" And when they woke up this morning, I couldn't help but take these great shots of the girls watching some Christmas Classics on TV (which I was so proud to see...not PIXAR animation and it kept their attention...including the Classic, Jack Frost)!

After prying them off the couch, we made it out for a late breakfast at Cracker Barrell. The girls also love those rocking chairs and the checkers! We took our time after breakfast as we waited to check into our next hotel.

Annalise took this game ALL THE WAY! Allison wanted to play on her own and chose to mess the board all up by grabbing all the red pieces because Anna had so many. Didn't work out so well for her.
Unfortunate for the youngest...
Sissy Won!

Next we headed to Starbucks to relax a little and get a sweet treat :) My girls enjoyed Vanilla and Chocolate Milk and Scones while mommy had a Green Tea and caught up on some emails. Such a fun time! I even allowed my girls to take in their Leapster and Nintendo DS to play on while I worked away on the laptop. Wish I had a picture. We were quite the scene!
Once we were done at Starbucks, we checked into our hotel. Why change hotels? Well, Daddy came up a day earlier and stayed in a Courtyard. We chose to change hotels when the girls and I arrived in order to have a little more room and to be closer to the Mall! This way we could finish up some Christmas shopping while daddy was at work. Well, that...and...we took part in a special hotel deal and received (3) $25 gift cards to the Mall (one for each night of stay)! Yippee!!!
We had a great day! We window shopped a little today. Basically, I let the girls direct the afternoon. So we ended up at Arby's for dinner, Pet Smart to dream of a future pet (maybe this Christmas?!?!?!), and then to Publix for our free cookie (desert) and a few food items for the room. It was a fun day!
And what better way to end the day...
Daddy just walked in and jumped in to join the girls for Movie Night! Toy Story on ABC!

Not sure why kids get so excited over hotel rooms, but mine do too :)
I love the free $75! That rocks.
And... Oh my, the pet! Did you find out what they want? A new DOG?!!!
STOP SAYING YOU WANT A PET...you don't TRUST me!!!
Andrea:)
