So today was a much yuckier day than yesterday in Miami :(
Rainy and Cold!
We spent the morning in the hotel having our free breakfast buffet (which my girls always love) and then baths, school work, and The Rockette's Christmas Special on PBS!
The four walls couldn't keep my girls happy for long so we decided to head to the mall for some Christmas shopping for the Orlando cousins! Daddy had the car so we decided to try out the Metro Transportation system (my kids compare it to the Monorail at Disney)! We had to first wait for a Trolley to get us to the station. It was a very fun and exciting experience for us girls!
Here are the girls waiting for the Southbound train!
Had to hold this little one tight during take off and stops! She wanted to stand on the seats the entire time and tell me everything she saw. (Also took everything within me to allow her to be that close to the window because she was so tempted to put her sweet little mouth on the NASTY NASTY windows...btw, Jarrett almost yacked as he was reading this over my shoulder)!
And just as Allison doesn't really like individual shots, she also doesn't like Annalise to do them either :) She thinks she belongs with her sister in every picture!
The girls really enjoyed buying gifts for their family members! The Orlando cousin gift exchange will be among the children only and either homemade or $1 items! This saves on the parents finances and also gives the kids an opportunity to be "shopaholics!" My girls LOVE to give gifts (ALMOST) as much as they love to receive them! Let's just say that we have a PILE of stuff to get home to Orlando...but for a small price :)
