The last weekend of January, I had the opportunity to chaperone my daughter's girl scout camping trip to Camp Mah-kah-wee!
Troop #1055

As you know, my family LOVES camping and will go every chance we get! So I jumped on this trip! We had such a great time!
Here is the cabin we called "home" for the weekend! My sweet friend Jessica and I were both in this room with our girls and 3 other Girl Scouts! Our cabin was the best I'm sure!

Here is Annalise's bed! I told her she could bring whatever she wanted...
And SHE DID!!! And then decorated her little fortress!

This is a pic from our front door. There are 4 bunk beds, nice wood floors, air conditioning and heating...etc...Not quite what we are used to in our family camping trips.
VERY NICE WAY TO CAMP!

Each night we would gather around the fire pit and sing songs (one of my favorite parts of camping) and roast marshmallows or make S'mores!

As part of her team "Kaepers" (a.k.a. - chores), Annalise (along with her other "Sheep Team") was a hostess and decorated tables for lunch with things they found around the campground! It looked SO NICE!

After lunch and all meals, another team would be responsible to helping set up the cleaning process of cleaning the "Mess Kits." Each Girl Scout personally washed their own dish and then they were hung to dry in their "Dunk Bags." I love this stuff!!!

Another highlight to the trip was the "Letterboxing" we did with the girls. It's such a fun way to scavenger hunt with personal stamps! We were able to find 5 of the Letterboxes! Congrats to the "Chicken Team!"
I wish I could post more pics because I had some great ones! But, I try to be careful of posting photos of other children on my blog without their parents permission (at least I "try"). The first pic was zoomed out enough I thought I could share our group photo! It was a great TROOP!
