So, shortly after I posted my pictures from yesterday, I took the kids over to my sister-n-law's - parents' house. They live directly across our backyard (on the other side of the golf course...only separated by trees). This is what their backyard view was:

It was amazing! And look! Shamu and his friend have escaped Sea World!!!

And watch the escapees as they travel down stream...And our children watched in enjoyment while doing the Shamu Chant! Thank you Sea World for teaching them this never ending song :)
We had a great time at our friend's lakeside home. School was canceled all across the mid-state. The kids watched movies. The adults put a puzzle together and played cards! It was a fun day indoors...AGAIN!
Today...skies are BLUE!!!

Great Pictures!!
I knew I should have taken pictures with my camera. Look at you posting before I have a chance :)
Hi there. Found your blog through your sis-inlaw. So sorry about the water. We live in Volusia County and a lot of people up here are under water. Such a shame. So glad Fay is gone...
Hope that water goes away soon.
Great pictures of C's yard and SHAMU! I told some of my students about it and they thought I was talking about the real shamu. Gee, sometimes I think they don't listen real well.
The joys of teaching teenagers. Gotta love them!

That is AMAZING! Hope it didn't do any other damage to anything. Man! Bet K & C were closely watching the rising waters.
