My sister turned 30 on March 18th and I was there with my girls on her birthday to surprise her! We had the best week together! I was able to call Ami's work to get her off for a day, then we had the weekend to play also! I miss spending time with my sister. I try to see her at least a few times during the year if possible!

After only a little over a week from being home from Pennsylvania, I received a call from my mom that my "Pa" had passed away. I had mentioned him in an earlier post here. So, we traveled to Georgia that next weekend for his funeral. My sister also drove down from Pennsylvania and my mom flew from Vegas. It was good to get to see so much of my family.
Here are the little goof balls again!
Nana and Annalise playing catch!
While we were at my uncles home, the weather got pretty bad. We were under a tornado watch almost all day. Later in the day, we received a tornado warning and lots of hail. It was the biggest I had ever seen.
The next day was Pa's funeral. We had taken tons of pictures of family that we haven't seen in a long time. But, these girls below are second cousins of mine that we haven't seen since we were kids (over 20 years ago)!!! It was so good to catch up.
Nana and Allison in Pa's back yard picking flowers!
And since Pa's funeral was the day before Easter, we stayed in the Atlanta area to spend Easter with my mom and family. Here are the girls after they found their Easter baskets in the hotel room!
I tell ya, we have some cute kids!

AHHHHH!!!!

Here's the non-Hollywood fear from my girls! Once the Dino's Roar came thundering in, my girls wrapped their arms around daddy! Then after the roars, the girls would eat and laugh until the next round of noise came!

After all, we did have a great weekend. Michelle and Jennifer are fun leaders and we had a great time! We also enjoyed spending time with Marie another leader from our service unit! And I am excited to take back all that we learned to our little Daisy Troop!!
Jarrett and I picked up our kids on Sunday (at a halfway point from his parents).
Then we got ready to head to church with Uncle Denver and family. After church we headed to Denver's home for pictures, lunch and an Egg hunt!
I tell ya, we have some cute kids!

Let the craziness continue...
My sister and family drove down to spend some time with us in Orlando since she was taking time off from work already. We enjoyed a few days together at Sea World and Epcot (thanks Jay and Jack)! And another one of the fun trips we made was to T-Rex at Downtown Disney!

My sister left this past Thursday to head to my dad's house on their way home. Well, I decided to join them for the trip to see my dad with her. We hadn't stayed with them together through this trip. But, being as crazy as I am, I had to drive back down to Orlando on Friday morning for a Girl Scout Leader's Retreat. I left my girls with Jarrett's parents and drove down just in time to make it for my ride to the retreat.
Much to my surprise, we were given a lovely tent to sleep in!!!!! Needless to say, I was not expecting those sleeping arrangements at all! I was ready to sleep in a cabin (with doors and no open air)! I was equipped with a blanket and tank top and shorts to sleep in. It was COLD! And the tent didn't zip up like my wonderful tent that our family camps in for trips. Our beds had mosquito nets (with big holes) with lizards and a nice big spider waiting for us inside!
We didn't sleep well!

We are glad to be home! Let's see what new adventures await!!!!!!!

You have had one packed month!! After the next couple of weeks, you are going to need to slow down a little :) I'm sure working in a garden would be good natural medicine :)
Thank goodness you are still alive - we were all so concerned and we missed your beautiful voice in church (you know those other girls can't sing) All I can say is
PRAISE GOD!!
love amanda
first things first... LOVE the Easter pics. You do have adorable babies. :) Second, you are one brave girl sleeping in that tent. I wouldn't have survived :) By the way, I am glad you are back to blogging.
