This is a picture of my sister and me with our "Pa." Pa is currently in a Nursing home/rehabilitation center near Atlanta, GA. Over the past year, Pa has been in and out of the hospital with kidney problems, diabetic shock, pneumonia, and more. According to the doctor that worked on him in Dec 07, he wasn't going to make it through the night. Well over a year later, Pa is very much alive but struggling for quality of life. Pa says he is NOT ready to die. Please pray with me for Pa. His name is Roy. Let's pray not only for his health and well being, but for the abundant life he could live once he leaves this earth.
Jesus, I don't know if Pa knows the deep, true love that you have for him. I pray Father that today you will give him a special Daddy hug. Open his heart and mind to hear and feel you. Lord, if Pa doesn't have a relationship with you, I ask that you reveal that missing void he has in his life. Give Pa the truth and wisdom to know that he needs you. Lord, you are the only way to living eternal life. We all have sinned and come short. I pray that Pa will realize that he is also a sinner and in need of your forgiveness. You have taken care of it at the cross. Oh Father I pray that he will allow you in and give him LIFE. Give him peace and take away his fears. When you take over as the Savior of our lives, we have nothing to be afraid of. Thank you for your grace and mercy that could never deserve. Amen

Sweet prayer...btw, the little one on the left really does look like Annalise...and I always thought she looked just like Jarrett, but now I'm deciding she takes after your sis!
Oh Jaime, I know what your going through!! I will be praying for your Pa...I just love, love looking at pictures of me and my mom at different times of my life. I had the sweetest gift this past wed night, my mom danced with me for about 15 minutes :-) no one can even imagine how precious that was for me! I will be praying....
