A New Journey!

As most of you know, we are a homeschooling family. I very much believe the Lord has called us to primarily educate our children at home (for now). We take it year by year and know that things can change. In wrapping up this school year, we began looking ahead to the next school season to come.

and...

This year there will be changes!

After much prayer, we have decided to enroll our kids in part-time programs next year. Beginning in the fall, both our little girls will be spending some of their school time in a classroom with other children and someone other than mommy as a teacher!

Sweet Annalise!
Annalise has been asking about going to school ever since her cousins began attending Circle Christian Academy programs over the last few years. Circle offers different enrichment programs that give homeschooling children the opportunity to be in a classroom setting on a part-time basis. As excited as Annalise is about her new journey, she is a little anxious about the unknown of going to school. She will be in a couple of classes with her cousin, Sydney, but will also have a couple of classes without her. So, please say a prayer for her next fall as she faces her fears and anxieties of meeting new people. This is a big step for her!

Crazy Allison!
Now this girl is a different story! She can't wait to jump in and entertain a classroom this fall! Allison will be attending a pre-school program twice a week at First Baptist Church. The girls and I took a tour of the facility with a friend of ours also considering the program.
So, this is definitely a big step for us and quite a change. We would appreciate your prayers as we walk this new road together. I am always so amazed at God's wonderful and timely provision over our family. We are truly blessed!
